If you have visited www.octoberpumpkin.etsy.com, you may have seen this scrapbook page. I am adding it to the blog because the image is larger, plus I happen to like to look at the little beach girl in the picture. This picture was taken many years ago, but I still love it! I love the way her hair is blowing in the wind. This page shows how you can use our large stamps for paper piecing on your scrapbook pages. The lighthouse is Cape Lookout in North Carolina and is stamped from that stamp available at october pumpkin. Please remember there are a few days left yet to enter a card giveaway at www.pelikanbeach.blogspot.com You can enter to win a free card made by the stamp designer, Judith Fogt. Goodluck! Have a great day!
Thanks Kay! Susiestamper- this is a picture of one of my daughters years ago. The secret in this page is that she is at Daytona Beach, not North Carolina like the lighthouse. It shows that you can uses any of the lighthouses if you have an ocean neutral background!
Hi! I am a middle-aged gal with four raised, beautiful children that I have spent many years being the "mom" to. The biggest part of that job is done and I have chunks of time to fill with a new endeavor! Two years ago, my mother and I began a rubber stamp company and piece by piece it is coming together!
As far back as I can remember, I loved to create and in the past few years I recognized what I really loved to create when I was younger were paper crafts. I loved to create lettering from papers for posters, I rubber stamped, I made oodles of handmade cards from the earliest age and much more! I do not remember a time that I did not create.
I was lucky to inherit this gift of loving art in many forms from my mother, a gifted watercolorist and my father, a professional photographer. My time is done as a registered nurse and as a mom raising youngsters ( they still need me but not so much) and I am moving forth to discover and develop the artist in me!
Beautiful page!
